Product Description:
Gabion wire mesh are mostly popular used for 3 types of gabion products: gabion baskets, river mattress and sack gabions, as below:
The gabion baskets are made of hexagonal hot-dip, PVC coated or Galfan coated galvanized wire netting with an 8x10 cm aperture and they are customizable. Gabions longer than 2m are supplied with internal diaphragms dividing the basket into partitions of 1m long in order to retain their shape during filling and installation.
Gabion mattresses are manufactured from hexagonal shaped double twisted gauge steel wire mesh. They usually have the shape of a cube of different dimensions – with width starting at 2.00m and height ranging between 0.17 and 0.30m. The construction is siar to that of common gabions though lighter and more flexible. The edges are reinforced with wire of larger diameter than that of the mesh. They are used for slope stabilization, protection of the bottom of a slope and river bed lining and generally in der water flow conditions than gabions are used.
Sack gabions are cylindrical wire mesh boxes of 0.50m – 1.00m diameter and 1.00 – 3.00m height, They are reinforced with wires of wider diameter that run down the sack from top to bottom. Sack gabions are used for slope stabilization, protection of the bottom of a slope, stream and river bed lining and other works. They are also used as the foundations for other types of gabion applications since they are more easily positioned on the ground due to their flexibility and shape.

Tie wire of GI (2.0 mm, 2.2 mm or 2.4 mm) or GI + PVC (2.0/3.0 mm, 2.2/3.2 mm, or 2.4/3.4 mm) coated, generally the quantity supplied is 5% of the box weight.
